The short documentary draws attention to torture in police stations in Ukraine. The movie tells the story of 26-year-old Nela Pogrebitska, who suffered from torture and rape at a police station in Kaharlyk.

Two police officers, who were firmly convinced of their impunity, received 11 years of imprisonment each. Nelya went through real hell, but, unlike many victims, she found the strength to declare it. Now, this real sentence, as severe as it may be, will give hope to hundreds of other victims.

According to sociologists data, more than 70% of victims don’t report these crimes, and don’t ask for help, so that impunity has already become a social phenomenon.
