The documentary series FIGHTERS FOR THE TRUTH tells about Ukrainians who challenged the state bureaucracy in the fight for their legal rights. Among them are people who have suffered from Russian armed aggression: veterans, internally displaced persons, former prisoners of war, and wounded civilians. All 10 series were broadcast on all regional channels of the Ukrainian Public Broadcaster.
“Often, after two or three unsuccessful attempts to achieve justice, we give up. The project will show people who, not thanks to, but in spite of the circumstances, went forward and defended their rights and as a result won a victory. These are life-affirming stories that break stereotypes, help to look at the problem from different side and inspire motivation to take the first steps to protect rights yourself or with the help of human rights defenders,” – the author of documentary series Olga Bozhko.
